Day 22
This morning we walked for about 20 minutes until we reached the beach. We went into the sea to go snorkeling at a sunken ship. About 40 meters away from the shore we found the shipwreck and with it a lot of fishes. They were all very colorful and so beautiful. Especially the bright yellow moonfishes. After about two hours we made our way back to the hostel, showered, and then left for the next destination. When we were picked up, it was raining very hard and the streets were slowly flooding. Lucky for us we would be sitting in the car for about three hours. Halfway through, we made a stop at the Bat Cave Temple where the three of us got a necklace for luck. The temple itself was small but pretty and it had thousands of bats hanging inside. It stopped raining while we were outside, and so we also climbed a little uphill to get to the second part of the temple. Afterwards we drove to the hotel close to the airport. It was still raining, but we walked around the streets for a bit and found someplace to eat. Good day, though very clear that it's rainy season.
