Day 70

Today was such an exciting day. We took the bus to Parque Nacional de Iguazu, Argentina. We first took the Green trail, where on the way we found an alligator in one of the small ponds. After this short trail, we walked the Superior trail, which is the higher trail with a view from above the waterfalls. Today it was a lot sunnier than yesterday, which made for even more beautiful views. After walking along this breathtaking trail, we made our way to the Safari Cabin. On our way we saw a lot of monkeys, butterflies, and birds. When we arrived at the Safari Cabin, we were picked up with a jeep. We drove through a large part of the rainforest and then finally arrived at the river. From here on out we went by boat. We passed some small waterfalls and we had time to take some pictures. We then had to put all of our things in a waterproof bag and before we knew it we were heading right into the waterfall. It was so amazing and the best feeling ever. We headed right into this waterfall a few times, and then moved on to the next one. It was incredible and I had the most fun in the world. When everyone was completely drenched, we headed back with the boat to the point where we started. From here on out we took the jeep back to the park and we walked around the rainforest a little longer. It was so perfect with the sun shining, the birds chirping, the sounds of the waterfall and the beautiful views. In the afternoon we took the bus back to the hostel and called it a day. The best day ever.
