Day 14
We still hadn't had rain so far in Seattle, even though the weather forecast had predicted it for the last couple of days. So, dry as it was, we went and took the bus to the Snoqualmie falls. The busride was about three hours from the city center, but the view was definitely worth it. The waterfall looked beautiful in the sun and the sound of it was amazing. Since we didn't plan anything else for today, we decided to also hike the Snoqualmie trail in the hope to see some bears. Though we did not see bears, or any other wildlife for that matter, it was a very nice hike. However, when we arrived at the river all the way down the hill, it started to rain. And it wasn't the drizzle kind of rain, it was pouring rain. Still, we had a bus to catch and so we made our way back up the hill and arrived at the top, fully soaked. Wasn't that great, but we had another three hours in the bus to dry. Once home we were almost fully dry, yet still cold and so the warm shower was very much appreciated.
