Day 71
The plan was actually to leave for Paraguay today, but as we enjoyed ourselves so much in the park yesterday and we did not see everything that we wanted to see, we prolonged our stay with a day. So again, we took the bus to Iguazu national park. This time we took the mini train in the park to the 'Devil's throat'. It was a beautiful lookout point all the way on the top. From here on out we had the best views over all of the waterfalls. Because of the force of the water and the wind, we again got completely wet. But it was all so worth it because it was beautuful, especially with the rainbow that appeared just above the water. We stood there for a moment, simply taking in all the beauty. Afterwards, we made our way back to the train station and got out at the middle station. We ate our lunch here and tried not to get attacked by the quaties who were out for our lunch. Afterwards we walked the Inferior Trail, the same as we did yesterday, just from below instead of from up. Again so beautiful and definitely worth being one of the Seven Wonders of Nature. We saw many more animals and the nature that surrounded us was breathtaking like never before. At the end of the day, I felt sad leaving this beautiful place, but I will for sure come back one day. An absolute recommendation and the best place on earth!
