Day 12

Due to the jetlag I woke up at around 4:30am, however I did not mind for a second because today was a special day. I will not go into much detail, just that me and my best friend have been friends for two years today and we made this little 'anniversary' very special for each other from the other side of the world. I could finally open my first 'open when' envelope and it was just too cute. THANKS FAVE <3
Then, I went into Seattle to do some sightseeing in the city of Grey's Anatomy. First off, we went to have a good breakfast at a real American Diner. After three pancakes with maple syrup, we made our way to the Space Needle, to see Seattle from up high. This was a beutiful view, especially as both the walls, as well as the floor were made of glass. Afterwards, we went to see the Intern house of Grey's Anatomy, because I couldn't miss that of course. It was a little awkward though, as someone was staring out of the kitchen window while I was trying to take a picture. Right next to Meredith Grey's house is where Kerry Park is located, where we could get a perfect panorama view over the whole city. Because we were very much in the Grey's Anatomy mood, we also decided to take the ferry. It was amazing to finally ride the ferry in Seattle, though when we arrived at the destination of the ferry, Bainbridge Island, there wasn't much to do there. So, after strolling around the Island and having dinner at a mexican place, we went back to Seattle and called it a day. A very good day.
