As this was our last day in Asunción, we packed our backpacks in the morning and made ourselves ready for a long flight. I again Skyped for hours with Imke while staying in the hostel and afterwards showing her a part of the city. I had lunch and when I got back there was not much time left before we had to head to the airport. At around 15:00 we took a taxi to the airport. I was too early and had to wait for another two hours before I could check into my flight. Afterwards, I spent my waiting time at the gate watching Christmas movies until at 20:20 my flight left.
