Day 6

This was already our last full day in New York, and also the first night we both were able to sleep until at least 6:00am (and we managed to stay up until 21:30 yesterday, so it's going in the right direction). We took the metro to Central Park first thing in the morning and ate our breakfast on a bench in the sun. We then spent the rest of the morning walking around the park, visiting Shakespeare's garden and the Belvedere Castle, and chasing after loads of squirrels with our cameras. After spending the morning in the park, we decided to take a look inside the American Museum of National History. The museum was absolutely enormous and had the most spectacular exhibitions. In particular, the exhibition with dinosaur fossils, and the exhibitions from the movie 'Night at the Museum' were great to see. We spent most of the afternoon walking around the museum, and then treated ourselves on a hot dog from one of the street venders standing right outside. Later, we took the metro uptown to the Bronx to see the Yankee stadium. I would have loved to attend a Yankee's game, however unfortunately they did not play any games in their stadium this week, and thus it only stayed with a picture.
