Day 9
At eight in the morning we took the ferry from Wellington to Kaikoura. It was a very nice, yet quite long ride. We arrived on the south island a little after noon and we drove right to Marlborough, the wine area. We sat down at the Fromm winery and got to taste five different kind of wines. We tried three white wines and two red wines of which the Riesling was the best. Just before we arrived, we looked at a seal colony at Ohau Point. We arrived in Kaikoura in the late afternoon, went to the supermarket and had dinner. After dinner, some of us went to the swimming pool in our hostel and got into the hot tub. We all went to bed early as we had an activity planned for the following morning.Geschreven door Romymatse
