Day 13
This morning we first made our way to the famous Seattle gum wall. Sadly, it had been cleaned one day before and it thus wasn't covered with gum as much as before. However, there was already a pretty big part of the wall that had already been covered in just one day. Right next to the gum wall is where the Public Market Place is located. We walked around the market, which had very pretty neon signs everywhere, and went into every bookshop possible. When we left the market, we stumbled upon a very nice souvenir shop where I went all in with Grey's Anatomy merchandise shopping, oops. We continued our way towards Capitol Hill, where all crosswalks are painted in the colors of a Rainbow to show their tolerance to the LGBTQ community. After quickly eating lunch in a park and spending some time at a playground (I'm only 21 so it's still allowed), we took the bus to the Fremont area to look at the Fremont troll. As there was still some time left, we then made our way to the Japanese Garden and on the way stopped to look at the impressive building of the Seattle Public Library. The Japanese Garden was nice to see, though I would not recommend to go see it. We made our own hamburgers for dinner and afterwards I pretty much immediately fell asleep.
