Exploring the underwater world ♡ 🐬🐋🐟🐙

Indonesië, Bali

Helleuw!

Wednesday I started my 3 day diving course (PADI). I did the course together with a couple from Holland (Frank & Maria). We started the first day in the swimming pool. We learned alot of techniques and were exhausted after the first day and. After the course I went to the beach to watch sunset and I called with my schatzi Nicole😍 it was nice to speak to her again. I still feels a bit weird.. i think its because of this new atmosphere. After watching the sunset i went for some local food and a back massage. You can get a one hour massage for only €4.50, awesome!!

Thursday:
The next day we went for a 1 hour drive to Padangbai. This time we had to roll back from the boat into the water, NICE! The coral was very beautiful there and we practised alot of techniques. I as starting to feel more comfortable in the water, I like this :)

Then something shitty happened, as I wanted to start filming with my outdoor camera on 8m depth, I found out the screen was not working and completely full of water.. Just great, I really loved this camera and its broken now already. Oh well I'll see what I can do with my insurance. Back in the hostel the staff gave me sone white rice to put my camera in.

In the evening i said goodbye to Eric, which I will meet again on Sunday.
After eating some local food I went for a fish spa. The little fishes eat the dead skin from your body and that should be good, all I can confirm is that it tickles like hell 😂 it was hard to keep my feet in the water.
When I got back to the hostel there was a new guy, Job. He's also dutch, is interested in the same kind of music as me and he is also in indonesie until the end of October, great!
At 23.00 I go to bed and start feeling better. I don't know what it was but I had like this constant bloating belly. My stomach hurts. Maybe I just have to get used to this new thing "travelling".

Saturday 8th :
Today I got picked up at 6:50 to do my last dives for the course. We drove all the way up to Tulamben, which was a 2 hours drive pff. It was a location close to a vulcano. Just 20 meters from the shore theres a 120m long ship wreck on the bottom. So we went into the sea by shore. We started by doing some final exercises and then we dove abround the shipwreck. The first dive was very nice and I was on 18 meters, no problem 👌 I feel pretty confident now and I'm getting more feeling for it.

After a short break we did the 2th dive, on the same spot. It was only diving now, without any exercises. This was great! I filmed alot of it with my gopro camera and red filter, which should be good at higher depth because the color red fades the quickest on depth.
After we got out of the rough sea we had lunch and drove back to the dive school.
When we got back they gave us our certification, oooooo yeah I can dive now!!!😎 The underwater world is so amazing and peaceful.

To celebrate my certificate I went to a all you can eat restaurant with Job and another guy from France. We got served at our table and we just ate a lot of meat. It was awesome!! When we came back in the hostel we just chilled and I packed my stuff. Tomorrow i will go to the Gili Islands where I will meet up with Eric again. I'm looking forward to it. It should have very nice bwaches with a chilly vibe. Oh, and yeah.. I heard they have magic mushrooms there hahaha. Seeeee ya!!
