Landed in Jakarta after 13 hours. As expected, I couldn't really sleep in the airplane. 3 whisky's didnVb a 2 hour flight to the end destination: Bali

Once arrived in Bali the luggage came very quick. I was looking for the taxidriver that i arra nged through the hostel, ofcourse he was o to be found. After walking a few rounds more I decided to get another taxi, which also turned out to be cheaper😀

When I arrived in the hostel in Kuta, it was very quiet. It is "low season". I wanted to meet some people to go out for dinner but there was no one in the lounge. Gladly the staff is very friendly and they invited me to join dinner with them, so nice!!!
There are 3 other guys in my room. With one of them (Erik) I went to the centre to get some food and drinks. The centre wasn't that nice, its like mallorca. Just loud music and people trying to get you in their bars. We were not in the mood for that and walked a bit further, we're we found a restaurant. We were the only ones there, but they served us the best chicken scewers at a very special way. I must say that the people here are extremely friendly. Everywhere you go, the people smile and are happy to help you.

This was day 1. Tomorrow I'm gonna rent a motorbike with Erik and we are going to explore the island!!
