This morning stood up at ease and eaten bread with chocolate spread for the cottage. Then into the car and Highway 1. We drive for 1 hour from the campsite to the south and stop at various places. The mist makes it a beautiful, mysterious spectacle. We eventually stop at Sand Dollar Beach and walk from the cliff to the beach. This is what it looks like on the pictures along Highway 1. Brilliant !!! There is considerable surf. We see surfers. The water is cold, but too cool not to go into it. We get hungry, so back to the car and we stop at Big sur bakery and eat a delicious burger. Next stop Pfeiffer State beach. Here again a lot of branding and fun in the waves. Unfortunately, the fog here is stronger than the sun, but we enjoy it. Once back at the campsite, you can shower sand, light up and eat spare ribs with fries. . Tomorrow at ease via Point Lobos state park and of course again the beach, to Monterey
