Ready, set, go!

Luxemburg, Bettendorf

I'm all set to go on the next leg of my hiking journey to Rome. The last few weeks I spent quite a bit of time preparing, collecting new gear, drying and packing foodstuffs, gram counting and wondering, for each little item that I want to bring, if it could be lighter somehow; and training and hoping my foot injuries would be sufficiently healed in time. I'll be sleeping in Eindhoven tonight, then travelling to Luxemburg tomorrow morning, to start hiking there around 13.00. Still following the GR5, which I will do until the southernmost point of the Vosges.
This is the first time I'll be going for a longer period of time, at least two weeks; I will be back somewhere around June 14-15, depending on stuff like weather, injuries (hopefully not), and where I can find a train station - Northern France, where I'll end up, is notoriously difficult to reach by train. So I'll also have to take a day off somewhere. Quite curious about that; for now, I have no idea what I'll do on a day without hiking, but I'll think of something.
And, as opposed to last time, I'm going camping again, with my new insanely lightweight tent that is actually big enough to sit in. In case anyone is interested, it's this one: https://www.bigagnes.com/Fly-Creek-HV-1-Platinum. Camping is so much better and makes me much more flexible in where to sleep. Besides, I love it.

Been looking forward to this for ages, so I'm very happy to be finally going hiking again!

Nice! Sounds pretty good. Have a wonderful two and a half weeks. Hopefully quite energising and inspiring of sorts! And the tent looks great of course... Will tiny lynx accompany you or was it just too large/heavy?

@Geke & @Jolanda: thanks! @Judka: noo, my lynxes may be small but they're still big and weigh about 160 grams, which is just too much. It was the tiny bat who accompanied me :-)
