Cheers to 50 years BMM - Benelux Association of Trademark and Design Law! And to the Brands and Brand Assets that our professional community protected and defended throughout this half century. To us, CHOCOMEL/CÉCÉMEL is special: as a result of 92 years of consistent brand building the Brand’s recognizable warm yellow color is even a registered Brand Asset! With a CO2 neutral estafette (thanks to Monika van Zijl for coordinating), we bring our anniversary logo through the Benelux to Benelux Office for Intellectual Property (BOIP) in The Hague. I covered the part on a good old Dutch bike from Amersfoort (where the logo was dropped off by Evert van Gelderen, Elise Menkhorst and Tjibbe Fokkens) to Huizen.

On my beautiful cycling route, I visited our honorary member Gerard van Hulst for a warm welcome, great pie and a nice catch up!

My leg of the route ended with a hand-over of the anniversary logo to bright and sunny Claudia Festen (Kilburn & Strode) - with matching background.

Metaphorically, I am also cycling away from FrieslandCampina, new adventures await. It was a pleasure to work with so many beautiful brands and colleagues worldwide!
