4, 5, and 6 November 2023
Place: Longlier in the Province of Luxembourg to the Faculty of EU Legal Studies at the University of Liège.
Our BMM colleague Catherine McGirr, who you might remember was the first in row to receive the BMM Lustrum logo from Tom Heremans, Jan Janssen and Alexis Fierens, travelled no less than 157 km in 3 days to deliver the logo at the University of Liège with the next member, Bernard Vanbrabant. Please read her travelogue below, which is short, but concise, and enjoy her beautiful photo's of the 157 km through Belgium.
The trip took place over 3 days:
Saturday 4/11: Longlier to Durbuy via La Roche en Ardenne by (electric) bike – a total of 92km in rain, wind and horror.
Sunday 5/11 : Durbuy to Hony (near Esneux) by (electric) bike – 52km with 1 hour of torrential rain, wind and storm.
Monday 6/11: Hony to Faculty of EU Legal Studies at the University of Liège by foot via La Roche aux Faucons – 13km in bright sunshine at last.
We are all absolutely very proud of Catherine, well done!
