G'day!

So in Hervey bay I picked up the lovely girl from luxembourg Katherine. We went to Bundaberg because they have a rum distellery. The tour was a little bit lame because they just showed the place but didnt really explained the process and half of the work was done in another company. It was cool to hear that they win a lot of prices with their rum and are actually 'better' than bacardi or captain morgain according to the prices. They think in some years people will drink it all over the world, Afterwards we got the chance to try! It was very nice rum and liquor! I had a liquor with chocolate and coffee flavour and that was the best! After the tour we drove further to Gladstone to have a sleep. On the way saw the beautiful landscape of Straya, it is so nice to drive here! The next day we drove a long part all the way to Airlie Beach and had a stop at a wonderful lake during the trip.

Arrived in Airlie Beach, we went to the city to have some sun and booked our trip to the whitsundays! We had some drinks and a nice chat in the evening and packed our stuff the next day for the sailing trip! The Catamaran looked small for our group of 21 people but it was possible because we slept outside on the deck haha. First day we sail all day so we could go to the beach in the morning. Get to know the people on the boat. We played some card games with everybody in the evening and went to bed after. Next morning we had to lunch quick to have enough time at white heaven beach. When we arrived at the beach it was still high tide and they told us it would be so much better with low tide but it was already amazing! The sand was soooo white and the sea soooo blue. The sand felt soooo soft and not hot (98% pure silica!) It felt really special to walk around at that amazing beach. When the low tide came we went to a lookout and there we had the most amazing view! Never saw the sea/beach that beautiful! It was really stunning! Unfortunately we had to go back to the boat for lunch and did some snorkeling in a nice bay. The reef was really nice and there were also very big travelli's so cool! That night we had a 'party night'. Did some fun drinking games and had a good time together. The next morning we did some snorkling as well and we already had to go back to mainland:(

We met some really nice girls on the boat. Sofia from Argentina and Louise from Denmark. We decided to continue our trip together! First an after party at airlie beach. Did some fun beerpong games and later killed the dancefloor! Met a guy Gianni from France on the dancefloor and after some talking we found out it was perfect to be travelmates! Next day we went with the 5 of us to Townsville. Sofia and Louise in their own car and Kath and Gianni with me. We had a really beautiful sunset at Castle Hill! In the evening we stayed at a campersite next to the beach were you can sleep in your car our tent for free again:) We were having nice drinks together and Sofia was playing some beautiful songs on her ukulele (a cute small gitar).

It was time to go to magnetic island! We packed our bags again, parked our cars and went on the ferry. When we arrived at our hostel it looked like a resort! Really cute huts next to the beach with palm trees everywhere. Even the food was good! We decided to go to a beach we could see from our hut. It ended in a steep walk in high grass so the girls were afraid of snakes:p It was really worth it though because the beach was really nice and we had it all for our self! Sofia learned Gianni and me juggling which was really fun! Later did a nice sunset walk with people from the hostel and in the evening had some drinks and fun. The next day we discovered the island a bit and had a nice view from a random spot we found after looking for a lookout. That day we went back to mainland and slept at a rest area next to a tankstation. This morning Gianni made some nice crepes for us as breakfast! So nice to have travelmates from different countries:p Now we are on our way up to Mission Beach! Our last stop before Cairns whoopp! I love travellingggg I hope I will find a job there so I can stay much longerrrr(A)
